HELP COMES FROM ABOVE

Texts: PSALM 121:1-8, PSALM1:1-3, JAMES1:17

INTRODUCTION: Our help comes from the Almighty God .he is the all sufficient God he made the heaven and earth he is our helper every one depend on him because he is the only one that can satisfy us and he is dependable.

HELP COMES ONLY FROM GOD BECAUSE:

(a)  He is the  God Creator of heaven and earth all mankind and he made each person for  a unique purpose(psalm 100:3)

(b) He loves you God’s love is deeper than our problems and situation(psalm 18:16)

(c)  God has wonderful promises for you (Gen 24:7) i.e. Promises of success ,health, prosperity  ,strength ,wisdom and more

(d) God cares 1 peter 5:7.God is there and he cares

(e)  God has the power to do all things, Luke 1:37, God can handle any situation you give him .no problem is too tough for him to handle. He says ‘’I can supply all your needs

HOW TO RECEIVE HELP FROM ABOVE:

(a)  Determine your present position

(b) Look for God’s promise  in his Word

Acknowledge God and believe his promises, Heb 11:6

(c)  Be specific about what you want, Mk10:46-52

(d) Claim them

(e)  Trust in him to fulfill his promises

 
CONCLUSION: You can relax in faith, trusting God. He is able to run things without your help. All you need to do is ask, knock and seek.
