Text: Luke 14:28-30
Please open up your minds to the Holy Spirit because only an open mind or call it spirit can receive the things of the spirit. For a quick and much better understanding let's define a few terms from our text.
What does it mean to build?
It means to create, erect or frame.
What is cost?
It simply means means requirements in all its ramifications and not just monitory, everything.
What is a tower?
It is a building of any shape raised to a considerable elevation and consisting of several stories. It could mean citadel or fortress as described in Psalms 61.
We are God's buildings, 1Cor 3:9. We are of a very unquantifiable cost or value and God has put in His best into your being, John 3:16, Rom 8:32 (He didn't spare His only begotten to make you the best). Know and have an unquantifiable value for yourself. Shalom.
